French toast
Sunday Morning Classic
For the custard mixture
1 cup almond milk or another kind of milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup or other liquid sweetener of choice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Instructions
In a shallow plate, mix together all ingredients needed to make the mixture.
Heat up some vegan butter or oil in a pan over medium. In the meantime, dip a slice of bread in the mixture for around 10 seconds on both sides.
Place soaked bread into the pan, and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown. Gently flip it over, and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.
Repeat until the custard is all used up. Serve and enjoy your vegan French toast however you like!
