Tempeh
Peanut
1/4 tsp red pepper flake
20 ml sesame oil
32 g salted creamy peanut
30 ml soy sauce
30 ml lime juice
45 ml maple syrup
Gochujang
2 tbsp high smoke point oil
4 tbsp Gochujang
2 tsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 small garlic clove
1 tsp finely grated ginger

50 g verse gember
2 tl gemalen koriander
250 g tempeh
3 elzonnebloemolie
1 rode peper
1 teen knoflook
3 el sojasaus
3 el ketjap manis
2 el donkere basterdsuiker

15 ml Sesame Oil

How to prepare Tempeh
Cut up your tempeh in your desired shape and size.
Fry your tempeh in a high smoke point oil on all sides so there is enough space in the pan to get some browning.
Take them out and put them on a plate with some kitchen towel on it.
Then put all the tempeh back in the pan after frying it and add your premade sauce.
Let it go in the sauce for at least 10 min, if needed add some water to create that nice texture.

First, chop your tempeh to your desired size.
Then, steam it! Don’t skip this step! Steaming tempeh before baking or grilling it helps it soak up a marinade and infuse it with extra flavor. Steam the cubes for 10 minutes, and whisk together a marinade while they cook.
Next, it’s time to marinate! Pour the marinade over the steamed cubes, and let them soak for at least 30 minutes.
Finally, you can bake. Spread the marinated cubes on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and transfer them to a 425-degree oven for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove them from the oven, and brush more of the marinade over the cubes. Bake for another 10 minutes, until the cubes are charred around the edges. Enjoy!
